Grand Re-Opening!

Monkee's girls, so much has happened over the past few months! We need to get y'all caught up and reminisce as we approach a very special event:

We hope you will join us this weekend for our Lilla P trunk show, tons of fun giveaways, a meet and greet with the owner, and see the fresh new look of Monkee's! Make sure to stop by Saturday from 4-7pm for refreshments, as well! 

In July, our favorite Catherine Sullivan had the opportunity to purchase Monkee's of Fredericksburg. Excited was an understatement, to say the least! After working with Monkee's since the beginning in 2008, her hard work and dedication finally paid off and the store would be hers. Love and support poured in (along with many beautiful flowers, squeals of "congratulations!" and too many hugs to count!), and the papers were signed!

Unfortunately, the bliss was put on pause August 18th when we walked in to open the store. We were greeted by water everywhere. There had been a massive roof leak which caused major structural damage; roof panels were on the floor, water covered the computers and desks, it was a horrible sight. Thankfully the merchandise was saved. Once again, the outpouring of love and support was overwhelming, and Monkee's thanks everybody for their continued well wishes - what an adventure!

♥ Catherine is an avid Redskins fan, loves her Husband Tim and her furry child Zoey, and the beach! She can be found volunteering for the Fredericksburg Area Service League, having fun on Monkee's buying trips, and enjoying E! News (Giuliana Rancic is a fave!). We are all so excited for her ownership-- nobody has worked harder than Catherine, and nobody deserves this opportunity more than she does. We can't wait to see what great things happen at Monkee's of Fredericksburg under her ownership!

 ♥ Mo, as we affectionately call Maureen, hails from Miami and is reminiscent of a runway model! She looks fabulous in anything, really. 

♥ Griffin is our bold fashionista- if anybody is rocking a romper, it's Griffin! Trendy, Edgy, and Boho-chic is Griffin's specialty. She knows the best trends like the back of her hand.

♥ Melanie has a Palm Beach, coastal classy style. She can be found rocking her Monkee's outfits at nearly every Virginia Tech football game - she has season tickets!

♥ Allison (that's me!) loves all things pink and/or feminine. I have an obsession with rose gold, pearls, and Lilly Pulitzer.
